hebrew for children

Ten things to teach your children

Being the father of five children, I always teach my children both literally and in my actions. With the weekend of Labor Day and the last time to reflect – and I was thinking of things I want to convey to my children.

This does not concentrate on learning to add or spelling, but how to face life and be in character. We all have the responsibility of the resource, equip, teach and serve those who come after us and preparing to take our place. It is expected to do everything possible to help ensure growth and security, to teach the things we value most. Teach them to learn from their mistakes and not necessarily repeat. It is probably the most important and fulfilling tasks as parents – the transmission of values that support their life difficult tasks and difficult decisions.

What, then, we care spending on children on tour? What are the values that you want to teach? Here are my torches ten years I hope to pass on:

Value for money unless I want my son to not let them dictate their careers time and what they are. Learn to find joy in your family and friends, serving others and find their actions in life in God and not in their workplace. Teach your child to learn to save more and spend less and avoid having to improve their consumption patterns corresponds rising income. Ask your child to learn to not having to constantly update your home and your car. His son must want to find their satisfaction in worship and not in your toys.

Time out: I hope to convey to my children the importance of leisure time and how your time is valuable. I think our generation is our worst faults "occupation" and the ability of ourselves overbooked. Never never enough time to reflect or meditate, spend time alone or in the case of the book a moment of relaxation at home with the family. The value will be my first time – at least popular, less stress, less regular, and – the value of their free time and learning in "nothing" or time to do anything. The time to meditate, think, dream and plan is so important for a healthy life, but it is often forgotten. My children must learn to leave the office early to spend more time with his family rather than working late at night.

An attitude of staff: Like most Americans we are fortunate to have more necessary. Most of us live beyond – have more toys and spend our free time to enjoy our toys and entertainment. We should want to teach my kids to use their blessings to help others – to use his free time serving others. It takes a long time to achieve joy of helping others far exceeds the pleasure of driving a new boat or the latest video game. My second torch is to teach my children is much more to serve others than himself Service.

The importance of friends – waiting for deep relationships. One of the best things we can bequeath the next generation is useful, how rich and how important it is to have relationships with others and most vulnerable. They need meaningful relationships that can not only share, but also hold them accountable. They need deep friendships. (Hebrews 10:24) They should have a small group which is based on the Bible and help them grow spiritually.

Less than perfection. Apparently, with email, computers and improved communications – errors seem to be amplified and advertising. Unfortunately, this has led to tremendous pressure to be perfect. Everyone tries now to be so perfect. We must teach our children to be perfect! I hope to teach my children to be able to accept the truth about the failures, weaknesses and failures and not hide in shame, self-judgment and condemnation. Teach your child to be more tolerant and less critical. I want to learn to be honest than honest about confession, forgiveness, grief, restoration, healing and progress. This will help to deal with the baggage that naturally carry and learn to grow as imperfect people who have a message of hope for the life of a world that is lost. Learn to experience more joy and happiness in their imperfection.

Less judge. This seems to be a problem, so I decided to make a point in itself. We are all guilty of judginng ourselves and others too hard. Culture is always the establishment of rules that everyone can play and then judge us too harshly. Worse yet, we are constantly judging others when we do not like when other judge us. It seems that nowadays those who call themselves Christians end up being the most critical. Once again, it is not so critical, such as education their children the importance of trust and honesty, confession, forgiveness, grief, restoration, healing and progress. And Once you learn to be less critical of others also stop being so preoccupied with themselves and others to judge whether the judge. It is so liberating.

Praise. I think the model to my children that I am very proud of them, how wonderful they are and how much God loves them. Our children need our blessing. They need to know not cling to power, territory or authority. They need to know that we trust them and to love them and believe them and support them, take the initiative to help mentor and guide. Give them confidence in what they are what they are not also likely to change to please someone else.

The blessings of God does not mean being rich. Unfortunately, we have connected Somehow our wealth or lack of how God blesses us. And if we succeed because God blesses our actions. It is true that I owe everything but somehow God we attribute our success to adopt and which is far from the truth. You want my children to learn love God and the blessings are the same whether we are rich or poor, and no further indication.

Religious values. We must teach and model the reality of what is really important in life. Our time of worship and our faith in God must be the most important thing in our lives. Worship is seven day a hobby a week, not a date Sunday morning. Our children need to know that everydat begins with God. We must put more emphasis on Sunday as a day of reverence. Sunday is the day of worship, a day of recollection and not a day off the calendar of birthdays and little league games. We must teach and model the reality of God and his grace, love in our relationships, the truth of the Word of God, the hello comes through Jesus, the importance of God given life, that God is above all, that God sees everything we do to be an honest person, a holy life, and living in the community – is the only way to live. Once confidence in God and put our faith in him and worship him as he deserves – the rest our life becomes richer and more user friendly. Our children need to know that all reality is spiritual life in the center. It is God's universe, if it comes to marriage, dating, finances, careers, or our mission in life. We must teach our children to see God's principles, answers, solutions and advice for all areas of life, then we will see, and confidence in their capabilities. Learn to trust the Bible for our answers not our culture.

The importance of prayer – but the past is not true. We must give our children the importance of prayer is, what a blessing it is to talk with God. You can not have a best friend or supporter. How How many times is it, and our prayer time, the first thing we cut our busy schedule. Teach them to have a time of prayer, starting the day in prayer, to pray in the same room in silence, to become a daily prayer. Pray, pray and pray.

May God bless you and your children.
